2023 EDU FF Award Finalists Announced
Congratulation to all of our participants. This year the EDU Film Festival accepted entries from across the nation and received some impressive entries from California, Michigan, Texas, and elsewhere. But Minnesota filmmakers were still the majority of our participants and they dominated the finalist nomination for awards. A big thank you to the EDU Selection Team for their hard work watching and rating over 90 short films.

EDU Film Festival is partnering with PIM Arts High School to create a new featured category for the 2022 film festival on May 20. The special screening, designed and curated by PIM Arts High School students, will feature Tik-Toks, Reels, Micro-films, and Mini-movies.

The EDU Film Festival announces the addition of Penn Pauletich to the EDU Team. Penn will serve as the LGBTQ+ programer and will oversee a new focus for EDU: a screening dedicated to LGBTQ+ voices.

Horror High 2022: Dates and Duluth!
For the third summer, young filmmakers and film enthousiasts in the Twin Cities area will can sign on to attend Horror High Film Camp. But in addition, NFA and EDU are collaborating with the College of St. Scholastica to bring Horror High Film Camp to Duluth, MN. Both Camps will run from June 20-24 and will feature professional department heads mentoring teen crew members on the set of a short horror/thriller production.
