The .EDU Film Festival is a statewide event hosted by the MTS Digital Media Academy, a part of the MTS Charter School District. This event is free to any Minnesota High School student, there are no entry fees for participation, nor is there a charge at the door for students. It is only with the help of MTS and other generous sponsors and donors that we are able to continue to offer this event free of financial constraints for participants.
There are several ways to support .EDU Film Festival.
- You can donate money directly to the festival or to MTS Charter school district and receive a receipt for your charitable donation.
- Your company or organization can become a sponsor of the festival, either financially or through in-kind donations. Festival sponsors receive promotional consideration as outlined on the Sponsorship Levels page.
- You can become a volunteer and help to organize, work, or promote the festival.
But the most important way that you can support this festival and these young filmmakers is to attend the event. High School filmmakers from around the state work hard all year on their submissions, and seeing them on the big screen in front of a public audience is the thrill of a lifetime.
