We are now accepting entries for the 2017 EDU Film Festival. We are looking for short films from Minnesota high school (or middle school) students to screen at the 2017 EDU Film Festival. Submit entries in the Narrative, Documentary, Experimental, Music Video, Animation, or PSA categories. All submissions are due by April 15th, 2017.

Watch FOX9 KSTP Coverage of EDU 2016

Jerrad was the last entry for the EDU film festival which includes more than 70 short student-created films picked to be shown on Friday at the ShowPlace Icon theater in St. Louis Park. The EDU Film Fest, presented by Best Buy and sponsored by IPR-College of Creative Arts, is a one-day festival celebrating and recognizing the film work of middle school and high school Students from around the state. Usually, the short films for this film festival are limited to five minutes, but this film is three times that length. EDU 2016 Finalists Showcase Announced

Congratulations to the following filmmakers for being included in our finalist showcase. These films will compete for the Best in Fest awards. Finalists are chosen by our Selection Team through a blind grading process. Selection team members score each film submitted for story, cinematography, editing, sound, and "heart." The scores are averaged and the films ranked according to score. These films represent the top ranking entries in each award category

We are now accepting entries for the 2016 EDU Film Festival. We are looking for five-minute films from Minnesota high school (or middle school) students to screen at the 2016 EDU Film Festival. Submit entries in the Narrative, Documentary, Experimental, Music Video, Animation, or PSA categories. Official Selections will be screened as part of the 2016 EDU Film Festival, on May 13th, at the Showplace Icon Theater, in St. Louis Park's West End.
